This is Serbian town guard, around 1450, Fortress of Smederevo, 54 mm scale. Figure was produced by one friend of mine who owns local Belgrade souvenir workshop. I painted the figure and did some modifications. Spear-like weapon on this figure is preserved in one museum in central Serbia, it is one of its kind and it is dated sometime in XVI c. I am not an weapon expert but I think it is possible that similar weapon was in use 50 years earlier If somebody knows something on this subject I am interested to hear.
German origin helmet, on this figure, was discovered in one wall in Fortress of Smederevo during reconstruction. Stones in the wall behind the figure was painted in the same colors as the stones in medieval fortresses in Serbia.
I am sorry, but I am not so good in taking photos.
