Sergeant 25th Inf Div Vietnam (MMM bust)

Hi Folks,
I bought this bust at Bugle Call this year from the Mitches Military Models stand. It's a great sculpt by Pavol (Offo), right down to the dice on the string round his neck. It was fun trying to follow the details from stills from the film Platoon.
Painted in oils for the face and chest, acrylics for the tunic and a mixture of enamels and oils for the rest.

As for being a convert to acrylics, I've been using them for quite a while, but only as one of my choices of medium depending on the subject.

Nice job Andrew. I really like the MMM 'V' busts range and have about 10 of them myself. A few of the ones based on actors in movies are a bit off (Clint in Kelly's Heroes for example), but others are bang on.

My feelings exactly Andrew. I have the Barnes bust myself and agree that it is superb. This Elias bust is also very good, but third bust is the weak link IMHO, and I haven't bothered with that one.
