Hi guys,
just some pics of my latest 120mm scale Crimean sculpt, depicting a sergeant of the Coldstream Gds at Inkerman, 1854.
Sculpted in Miliput, the bearskin has been retextured since the photo highlighted smooth areas!
Hope you like it,
Steve(y)

Hi Steve ,

Nice one but please do stop it ..I am on overload at the moment !!!!!! Its really good to see the guards in the greatcoat , this looks a great piece to weather and dirty up .

Is it based on any particular picture?

Is this going commercial with anyone?

Thanks for posting

Marc, many thanks for the comments.
Kev, more or less based on an illustration in the Osprey British Army on Campaign, Crimea, only I've promoted him from the actual pic used, just to add a splash of colour on the sash!

Great piece Steve.
Really good shape to the bearskin cap. My only minor observation is that the chin scales should be larger where they attach to the cap than they are on the chin.
But it is still a great sculpt, very well done.
Cheers,
Keith
