Hi everyone,

Following on from my SBS here

iffyvision presents pictures of the completed piece (uniform is slightly darker in real life !!!....pics have washed out a bit )

As you can see I have added a poppy and the undress cap together with a KOSB badge above the medals

Its my small tribute to a very brave man

Thanks for the explanation re the medals Nap - I only looked in on this thread yesterday for the first time, hadn’t seen the earlier SBS......I really ought to catch up!
Probably one of the rarer medals on his bar is the 1977 Silver Jubilee Medal - not many of those were given out to HM Forces to my recollection; I can only remember meeting 2 people who had one - an ex-Catering Corps guy who was awarded it for baking a cake for HM The Queen when she visited the Army Apprentice College at Harrogate, & the other one was ex-Scots Guards & had been the GOC London District’s House Sergeant..........please excuse the anorak moment
