Shadows of the Past - A Nation Divided 1861-65

Dear Friends,
This is the title of my last piece.
The piece is in 1/24 scale (75mm). Figures and accessories from FeR Miniatures and Armand Bayardi.
I enjoyed designing, building and painting this piece. A combination of grey scale painting and, say we, normal painting in supporting of "Shadows of the Past" idea.

I like the symbolism that you incorporated. Those were dark times, brother against brother, the greenery to me is promise, and then you have the white dove of peace perched on a dead tree. Awesome !
