Can anybody direct me to a place where i can find sheet lead, with which to make rifle straps?.

Ben,
You can use the lead what is around the wine bottle.
At the other hand, you can use elektrical isolation tape. That works real good. Look at Bill Horan's work. He is using it too.

I have loads of friends who seem to have a drink problem given the amount of foil I receive from them !!!!!!!

As Marc says, wine bottles are a great source and free too.

Wine bottles. Two brands that still use this are Bela Serra and Night Harvest. If you need some, drop me a note at [email protected] with your ground address and I'll send you a couple strips.

Scale Link do sheet lead and Sylmasta do sheet pewter which is thicker but both are good additions to the toolbox.

Michigan Toy Soldier company sells lead sheet. Techstar also makes it and I have gotten from VLS in the past.
