I'm fairly fortunate with space so I've split into 3 rooms, one is the Summerhouse where all of the prep work is done and I can use it as a bolt hole to escape the TV. Another holds the Grey army and finally I have a room for the Military Library and Painting.

I finally got my spare room back last year (after getting rid of a four year houseguest /brother-in-law). No more painting at the dining room table.
The room is dual purpose:

The work bench starts clean at the beginning of a project, but looks post-apocolyptic before the project is done. I just temporarily bulldoze the debris to the back for "In Prorgress" photos, then back at it elbows deep.

Between the guitars, the figures and my bike... it's no wonder I've been wearing the same pair of Doc Martins for almost 20 years If I want a new pair I'll have to go downtown and wrestle a Skinhead for his
