G'day Marc,
In the 3rd photo, on the back wall is a reverse cycle split system air conditioner. Last night here it was -1 ºC, but inside the shed it was 24 ºC @ 35% humidity. Nice and warm and dry. Perfect for resin casting.
The insulation is basically bubble wrap covered in a foil. It cuts down radiated heat and cold by 90%.
She wasn't happy I showed the shambles I paint in to the world. So I played the "Well if I had more room" card Of course that just means in reality I'll have a bigger s**te hole to work with instead
There's no way I'm photographing where I have to work since the Bank of Mum & Dad became the Bank & Hotel of Mum & Dad; a 1 metre square alcove for an old writing bureau & some wall shelves for me to paint & to store all the materials, books & the grey army. It's no wonder I become so apathetic about painting. The spare room's gone & so is the loft & the garden shed & no change in sight. Whinge, whinge etc........
Hi All,
Some of you planeteers have working environments to die for and if I kept my work space like some of them I probably would. Carl springs to mind.
I must admit I have a truely understanding lass, she says my work room starts at the front door and ends at the back door and I get the full range of facial expressions :barefoot: but it's amazing what a quick kiss and cuddle can do .
I have even managed to commandeer the two living room display cabinets. Monkey Hanger charm .
Anyway my storage and work areas. The conservatory is great to work in if you don't mind being roasted in the summer and have frostbite in the winter.
cheers
Richie
