I always try to make a piece say something, tell a small story if possible. I don't manage to achieve it every time.

The best I can try to express myself regarding this bust is that you have brought a winner once again!

What separate figure modelling from all other modeling areas is the artistic dimension! It is something unique to figurine, where the sculptor has a key role from bringing a straight human from head to toes without a single emotion, to a character that alone, and even before painting, can pull us back to a time, to a context, to a drama, to a tale, to a story and ... to a fragment of history too.

This newcomer bust has all of this! It is a superb achievement that cuts the viewer in half, so deep are his emotions! I'm absolutely surrendered to this exceptional figure - a must buy, and a very quick must buy. It's a pity that the sound of the clap of my hands can't pass through the screen, but one round is not enough! Once again, congratulations!

Never thought a bust/figure could show that much drama, or emotion, by simply taking a drink of water. This piece has a great story "feel" behind it, really makes you wonder of the events leading up to him becoming so overwhelmingly thirsty. A great job and idea Carl, beautifully done.
