Hey all,

for those of you who also like 1-inch toysoldiers here are some of my latest sculpts showing wounded Prussian troops populating the main dressing station at the closeby Village of Croebern during the battle of nations at Leipzig 1813. The scale is 1/72 . Hope you enjoy - comments are more than welcome.
regards
Wolfgang

Wolfgang,

Sculpting is hard at any scale, but 1/72 is really tough. You have done a very good job at that size. Are you putting together a scene with all the pieces you are doing?

Hallo Ed,

I was asked to do some 40+ figures of this set with 25 done so far. They will be my contribution to an amazing huge Diorama put up by two german enthusiasts (Wolfgang Meyer and Jan Marschner) covering the historic events in and around the village of Croebern in 1813 as part of the "Battle of Nations" Leipzig 1813. Both of them have been researching the subject for years and the effort and "Heartblood" spent on the project so far. You got to see the buildings that where created by Wolfgang Meyer so far, simply fantastic. A film is about to be taken covering the entire process of this mammuth-project. But please visit the website dedicated excl. to this subject at:
Croebern-1813.
Very informative indeed, a complete english translation is soon to follow, but there is allready a lot fo information available in english. If you like figurines, Dioramas, Building-techniques, Miniature Houses and profound historic research than this is the place to visit.
Thank you for your posting and your interest.
Best regards
Wolfgang
