I just completed this 120mm sculpt that has been on my "to do" list for many years now. It is a Spanish Guerilla Officer from the Naploeonic Wars. Although an obscure subject (for those who never seem to tire of Old Guard Grenadiers, zzzzz) it was the decided piratical air of him that inspired.

The two illustrations show color, although they both have errors in them. The cockade on his hat is shown correctly in the last pic. The sash is artistic license. I liked the pistol but thought he looked lame carrying it around in his hand. Sue me if you must.

Anyway, I hope you like it. Look for this figure to be released by a well known trader in the near future!

Cheers!!

Fantastic sculpt Mike. I've always enjoy your choice of subject matter. Who needs a Guard Grenadier when you can have this? ~Gary

Awesome
With +10 with a double helping of Awesomesauce!
Who will produce this fine figure?
Mike it's good to see you doing what you want!
Keep up the ever so inspiring work.
Chris

Yeah, Mike...no doubt about it, when I grow up I want to sculpt just like you, bro.
Just superlative in all ways...not the least of which is the subject itself.
This guy looks like a real stud.
Simply great posing.

Mike,
"far-out, solid and groovy" being 'Spanish' is cool.
Now if I can figure out what motorcycle to scratch-build to go with your new figure...wait, there were No motorcycles back in the Napoleonic Wars (Hello!). Besides that, your piece needs no accessories to go along with it.
A beautiful figure.
take care my Brother (hermano),

Lovely looking figure mike, nice alternative subject also with lots of attitude.

Love the `skinny` rocker jeans, they are all the rage now :)
