At this moment I'm working on a little dio. A Sherman tank entering a German town. A couple of G.I's walking beside the tank.
Suddenly the tankcommander is aware of a sniper. But too late for one of the soldiers.
So far the story behind this project.
I 'm constructing this dio with left-overs and bits-and-pieces I found when I was cleaning up my workspace. I didn't want to buy new things. Only the decals and machine-gun was given to me from members of a Dutch modelling society.
Most parts are from Tamyja . Kind of tough hard plastic, unlike the Airfix and Historex plastic. I had a lot of sanding, cutting and sawing to do. Arms, heads etc. were connected to the bodies with metal pins. Then came Magic Sculpt and sanding again.
