Incredible brushwork. I like the strands of hair you've added. Something I've read about but never seen done so effectively.
I'd love to know more about how you did it and what you used.

Thanks! :)

@sippog - the hair is industrial hemp, take a wider piece, superglue the end and split it to strands as needed - keep the thin pieces together by the superglued end, one by one it would be difficult to glue to place. Also, some strands can be ticker to give volume. Form it to shape with a little water and let it dry, then I used permanent marker to paint them black, it helps to keep the shape (still easy to handle, it's like a spring), yet, still adjustable with water, repainted with Vallejo at the end. Hemp has a lot of possibilities, I wasn't patient enough to experiment, but it has good properties, can be used for very thin hair, even for small scales and it's cheap.

Hope it helps!

I've seen this one in flesh and I must say the pictures do not do it justice. The whole piece has so much to offer: the textures, the blood splatter, the hair... it looks absolutely amazing.Hope you did well with it in Moson.

Well done mate,
Mario

The depth of realism in the face and overall flesh as well as the rest of the painting is a pleasure to behold!!! WOW!!! WELL DONE!

Kevin

Thanks for the comments!

@Mario, I have to disagree with you :depressed: There is very good light in Moson, it showed many issues and some colours differently, than expected, so I'm dissappointed with my new lighting set up, still needs some improvement. Thanks anyways! ;)
