Great news, congratulations for the vision of future.

English version would be great, i am pretty sure that it would make impact on this format.

Nice idea and I hope you succeed but I get all the pictures and advice I need regarding the hobby right here on a more timely basis and for far less cost. The fact that I can't read definitely rules it out. Magazines are over for me.

Hi Colin,

I understand your point, that's why we 90% of the articles, if not more are 100% original and unpublished.

I'm a big fan of the web and I do write and produce contents for everyone to enjoy, for free.

I think communities are one of the greatest plus of the web, we all learn and share knowledge.

On the other hand if all the magazines will close we may find ourselves without in deep historical articles and we may not find anymore the hi quality hi-res pictures, done professionally at the various shows around the world.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I hope you will have time, to have a peak at the magazines preview, which is free, and give me your thoughts.

Language, is true is a great issues, that's why I need to understand if there is enough market to make it in english, but i can assure you the most of the articles are easy to undertand because are full of SBS pictures.

Thanks

Giovanni

Thanks Giovanni - I had just revised my post as I reconsidered it and thought it a bit too negative. I have put it back to the original since you quoted it.

I will certainly have a look. English would help a bit but probably not enough to get me to buy the magazine. I have bought Soldatini in the past although intermittently...mostly because of spotty availability. At least a digital version solves that issue. Again good luck with it. :)

Hi Colin,

Your opinion are valuable to me, and I thank you for it.

I really hope you can enjoy at least the number 100 live tomorrow, is a completely new format and new cover.

worst came worst you can ask for a refund ! :)

Thank you, really.

Hi Giovanni
Really big step from one to the world of miniature, although I prefer the Bandage as it actually is...ok!!!!
However, the technology today has entered our lives and really do wonders.
Well done my friend great new self with the magazine in electronic form.

Great leap forward, good luck with it. Tablets provide great resolutions to zoom in into pictures and study details, provided that you don't touch them while PAINTING! ;) ... I will try this once an English vesrion is out!

Hi my friend, your article is available on number 99! great work!

Not sure what you mean when you say you prefer the Bandage though..

Ciaoo

I waited for buying untill nmr 100 came out. Had some issues with registration last week, so gonna try it on the Android.

Marc

Ciao Marc, the issue 100 is out!

Not sure why you are having trouble with registration, try to contact the customer care of pocket mags or just send me a private message and I'll talk to them.

Hi Giovanni
I mean the original magazine ... page page.. ok!!
Thanks for the comment!!
I expect tomorrow to download the No100

I'm probably repeating what other friends on PF said, but an English version out as soon as possible would be just ideal. As far as I can tell there aren't that many magazines out there which are worth it an since I don't speak Italian, I am feeling a bit left out at the moment.
Cheers

well, got home anddid what you instructed. Payed with the creditcard, that worked, but no magazine.
Started the android again but no magazine. I think my 5 euro is gone or not???

Marc

no way!

Please send me the email you used to register.

I will send an email to the support myself.

Pocketmags is handling this not us, but I do care about our readers, don't worry you'll have it.

Thanks

Giovanni

Hi Marc, this is really strange, but I'm on the case, thank you.

I'm sure will be solved asap.

Paul, let me know what you think about the magazine and the reading experience.

Thanks.

Giovanni

Hi Giovanni
At first glance the readability is very good on PC. On iPhone however, I am getting limited resolution which improves after keeping same page open for a few minutes. Not a pb for me as I prefer to use wide screen to look at the minis.
The pictorial quality of the magazine is significantly better than French Figurines Magazine which however I think remains the reference for uniformology.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your feedback are precious.

About the limited resolution, really depends from your connection and the device performance.

On my ipad3 and on a windows surface, the lag time is 1 second maybe? Even if you zoom in to the maximum resolution. Certanly not minutes neither tens of seconds.

We have a fairly high res PDF, so you can zoom in and appreciate the pictures better.

I'm happy you like the new graphic layout and I hope you will appreciate that the pictures are among the best around.

We are working on the uniformology side, and try to cover almost al the periods and all the countries, not focusing only on national uniforms.

Thank you very much for your time writing this review.

Grazie.

Giovanni

Hi Giovanni.
I confirm the resolution issue comes from my mobile device which is 2 generations older than your iPad3.
I am happy to see the creations of Bruno, Cartacci, Micellone et al. which we have no opportunity to see in our French miniature landscape, especially when not released commercially.
I will be expecting issue #101 anxiously.

Paul

Giovanni,
Downloaded the app on my Iphone and it works great, with no problems. There are no resolution problems, and all the photos, and articles can be seen
easily. It was interesting to see a couple of my figures in issue 99, in the article on Bill Detert's collection. I was very pleased. Keep up the good work,
and hope it will be very successful. It would would be great to have an english version, but I'm not complaining.
