I put the finishing touches on a couple of recent projects, and thought I would share them with you all. The first is Alexandros Miniatures 75mm Hindenburg figure, the second is from Nutsplanet and is also in 75mm and represents a French soldier in Canada during the 18th century. The last one is Pegaso's 90mm Landsknecht, but I only have one photo of him because the battery ran out in the camera during the middle of my photography session. I'll post some more shots of him once the battery recharges. Comments and criticism always welcome!

Beautiful job on all three Glenn, although I especially dig the French soldier and the dog - really nice treatment of the shading of the Reds. That and the fact he's a French Canadian ;) !

Cheers, eh !

Thanks John, good of you to check in. Thanks also Brian, glad you like the Canadien, you don't see too many figures depicting soldiers from New France so I had to pick this one up when I saw it. Well worth it, as it's a great figure.

Sometimes pictures dont justify the quality of the work. Having seen these up close these are very good work.

Excellent work!

Cheers

Ray

My favourite of the 3 is the Landsknecht, but all of them are VERY nicely done.

How did you find the fit of the Hindenburg kit parts? Any issues?

Nice choices of figure.
Lovely finish.
Consistently high quality
across all three projects, and all so different.
Well done

Hi Steve; to answer your question, the fit on the Hindenburg figure was good overall, with the only issue being where I had to join the overcoat (and the right arm) to the rest of the figure. That joint needed a little work to get it to align properly, but that wasn't a major concern, taking a bit more filing and sanding.

Very, very nice Glen! All are tip-top! Love the French Canadian!
More pictures with the Landsknecht, pleeeeeeease! (y)
Are you coming down to Valley Forge this year? Looking forward to see you and Ray again!
Cheers my friend!
Zeno :)

Very nice work. Seeing them all together like this shows your 'style' of painting very nicely. I'm especially fond of the Frenchman, who has the air of a Gallic shrug that is about to happen. (Funny I've seen the figure painted before and don't remember this feel, so it must be down to your painting - Bravo!)
