Here's a few pics of some progress on my 1/16th OIF diorama, I put some pics up on the painting forum a few weeks ago of the head I painted for the 'me' figure, actually.

The pics are of the primed MP figure taking a picture, along with one of the holster and pistol I scratchbuilt and the helmet ready to prime. A quick note on the figure:

The torso is a Verlinden one, heavily converted with much of the original detail carved off. The shoulder straps and the carrying strap on the back were all made from lead foil, and the Zip-tie in between the loops of the vest was made from spare photo etch and thin cardstock.

The legs were sculpted from A+B putty, and the boots came from Dragon. The shoelaces were carved off and small holes were drilled to accept extremely thin wire to replace the molded-on laces. The left arm is a modified SOL kit's arm with the sleeve detail carved off and smoothed over, while the right arm holding the camera is scratchbuilt with only the shoulder and fingers coming from the spares box.
The camera itself was carved from a resin block, with the small details made from Evergreen sheet and other assorted scratchbuild components, made to in the end resemble a 120mm scale Kodak disposable camera.
The holster and pistol is completely scratchbuilt from Evergreen sheet, lead foil, and a spare pistol grip/trigger from the spares box. The holster straps are thin cardstock with photo etch buckles. The pistol leash ( not attached yet but will be once the figure is just about complete ) and straps are copper wire, electrical tape, photo etch bits, and electrical tape.
The Kevlar PASGT helmet is a Verlinden item, hollowed out to detail the inside with all scratchbuilt night vision mounting gear from styrene, photo etch, and lead foil, with some ultra tiny bolts for detailing.

Sorry the pictures don't quite rock & roll yet, I'm still working out some of the details of the new camera the wife and I got not too long ago.
Lemme' know what you think. Take care guys.

Looks nice!

Maybe the right arm is a little bit to thin. But the other parts are nice as far as i can see them.
