That's a great photo of the Welsh Waterloo vet. I've seen some old police mugshots from around the same period somewhere on the internet, there's some great characters among them. I'll see if I can find them again.
 
If Lieutenant Dieudonne is a Waterloo combatant, I'm sure he might be on pF own CRF's list to do!

Roger if you have seen some old police mugshots, does that mean you have been doing the family history again:D

Dieudonne is the chasseur in Gericault's famous painting on the rearing grey. I am pretty sure the portrait Ron posted is instead a young Eugene de Beauharnais.
