Something different for me......

I have been playing around with doing some football customs. I did this one for an NFL TE. He played for the St Louis Rams and is now with the Buffalo Bills. He requested this one of him in his college uniform. The figure is about 6" tall.

WOW! Great Pose!!!! Nice concentration on catching the ball as it lands in his hands. Slightly off balance, forward stance... even at 6" I'm not sure I'd want to be in his way!!!

VERY nice highlighting and shading of the dark colors!

I'll bet your friend was thrilled with it!!

Hey guys,

Thanks for the kind words. We really had a special day at our home yesterday for the kids. My son was in an issue of Beckett (AFootball Card magazine) with Joe and we have kept in touch. As a gesture to Joe for being kind to my kids I did this one and the Maximus for him. Well, Joe is now heading off to Buffalo to play for the Bills and he came by our home to pick up his figures and to play with the kids. He took the time to play basketball and throw passes and all the stuff kids love to do as well as sign autos for them and the neighborhood kids! He was also impressed with the kids collection of cards and told them he had some others he would send them. As he was leaving both my kids ran up to the truck and gave him a big hug and he was more than a PROFFESSIONAL, he was a real gentleman. What he did also was to give my kids an autographed football and a pair of game used cleats that he used for most all of the games in 2008! Here are the pictures and I would love to hear your thoughts.

I asked him what his thoughts were on the figure and he was just smiling and said it was all right and correct.

Man that's cool stuff. It is always great to hear about a pro being a real person. The game worn cleets are priceless. What a class act that guy is, you can tell him he has a new fan in Tulsa.

The figure looks great also and it is a big 12 team which is even better. Nice work my man.

I also will have another surprise for you..I have another player coming by tomorrow to talk about a figure, he is an OSU alumni.... he and Joe were roommates during training camp.

Great work Joe - and also great from this great sportsman - at the moment in Aussie all we hear about them is Drug and alcohol abuse - not a positive story like this
