Nice work Carlo....would have liked to have seen him a bit higher on the base in the usual way (on a piece of brass rod) he looks a bit uncomfortable as is...but still very nice....

The piece is still attached to the base, I will decide in the next few days, but I raise it a few inches.

Lovely piece of work.
If I might remark : the helmet should be apple green rather than that dark shade, which was used in late WW2, not 1916.
And the webbing is perhaps too light .

Very nice work. I'm with Tony about the colors but it could be the lightning in the picture.
But nevertheless, I really like what you have done.

I know what you mean, but as it stands it looks a bit like a monument - very apt for the subject matter.

Carlo the face is so good, the whole piece simply looks right
