Ok so I not have painted anything for over a year . Due to reoccurring back pain . That got better so it was time to redo The model room . Took longer than I wanted because you guessed it work and back pain . LOL So my idea is to start a sort of sbs from the primer point onward .I did get a bust done about a year ago and really don't like it so it will be stripped and in primer . It is a fantasy piece and I seem to have forgotten the little I did know.so if I do this I have a theme in mind . But would like input from others about what and how they would have done differently. As well as helping me with my own theme . A lot of help LOL . Does anyone think this would be helpful to the new guys here as myself . And would anyone be interested in contributing there ideas also ?for example say I went for cold colors I would like others to agree or say I would have went with this color theme and why . Tell me what you think.

Sorry to hear about your back but glad it's better

Sorting the model room out always seems to take longer ...I speak from experience !

As regards the SBS .....GO FOR IT

Only a quick pic cleaned it up with 70 % alcohol . I hope to primer it this weekend

Rob, can I suggest you prime in black and then follow up with a couple of 'halo' sprays first grey and then a lighter pass with white.
I think you need to create as much contrast as you can on this piece before you start the painting of each element.
Cheers
Derek
