Hi everyone,
I did it! I managed to get the Sosabowski bust finished in time to take him with me to the Washington, D.C. show next weekend!

Here are a couple of pictures...

This is a very nice bust and I really enjoyed painting it. The PE pieces for the badges, pins, etc. gave it some very nice detail. I did have some trouble painting the word Poland on both shoulders. But a couple of tries and I finally managed to get them to look okay (I think  ).
Special thanks to those who helped me find the right colors for the uniform, beret and accessories.
An extra thanks to the sculptor, Jacek Spychalski, for all your help.
As always, I appreciate any constructive criticisms you might have for me.

I like it a lot Craig. Nice leather jacket and flesh tones :) good luck at the show.

Hi Craig
I like it a lot, sometimes these drab WW2 uniforms take a lot of getting right and I think you have done it
Good luck in Washington
Cheers

Hi guys,
Thanks for taking the time to look at this one. And for all the kind comments.
The Washington show is one of the two figure shows I like to go to every year. Not nearly as big as MFCA but always a lot of fun.

Jacek,
Very good to hear from you again. And I'm very happy that you like my version of your sculpt. One comment I got on Historicus Forma was for more contrast/highlighting on the moustaache and eyebrows. I agreed and will probably visit them again this weekend.
Your Skalski bust is sitting in front of me when I'm at my workbench and will be picked up again now that Sosabowski is finished. I'm looking forward to getting back to it.
Thanks again to all,
Craig
