Hi Franck

They are certainly dynamic for sure thanks for sharing

Well worth lookng at

I have added a couple of pictures

Nap

thanks Nap, i didn't had time to do this :)

the only thing bothering me with these figures is that : they are named Spartans ... don't we know that Spartans were fighting naked ?

Frank this set of figures is dynamic...but...unfortunately not historical what so ever. Most of their equipment is a mixture of the "300" movie and fiction. So these may seem like a trio of 5th century Greek hoplites..but they are far off..
And no.. Spartan hoplites of this represented period were not fighting naked. They had all the offensive and defensive equipment as well.

Isn't there a thread on here about "how important is historical accuracy"? Obviously not to these guys. Comic-book hoplites albeit nicely sculpted.

Phil
Wasn’t intending this to be about historical accuracy: it’s not in the slightest..not even the poses...but they are dunamic if superhero cartoons..and of course anything from the silly movie sells..but then I am a sample of one who considers the 300 pretty childish. ..besides if people are attracted to the movie, then maybe they get interested in actual history and accuracy without entertainment gets rather stiff and pompous in film..Big Child is a well regarded brand so am not surprised it sold thru

Vassilis, yes that was what i was thinking about historical accuracy. For the Spartans i didn't know they moved to a more "general" equipment for war, thanks for the head up my friend !

These are fantastic, coming from Greek background and father born in Sparta fabulous,
