Here is Steve Moore's work in Progress on the Spartan Warrior by Young Miniatures.

Below is how steve is fastening the shield with the brass rod going up into the bottom of the base.

Steve hasn't decided on the shield design as yet and everything is a work in progress and not finished as yet.

Excellent painting.
I find the orange color a little bit confusing. Is it highlighted red (to much) or is it really orange.
Well i can't make chocolate if it.
Anyway, it is awesome painted.

Superb bust.I love the colours and the metals.
But the outstanding thing for me is the
brilliant eyes staring out with menacing intent.
The finished piece with completed shield will be
worth waiting for.

i agree great paint job. more interesting is i was wondering how to go about attaching the shield to the bust. the way steve has done it looks good. dave.
