Speedpaints by The Army Painter

Hi guys!

I'm considering to buy some paints from the range speedpaints by The Army Painter, but I would like to know first if someone have used them in figures and his experience.
Also if have some advices in its use I will appreciate it.

I use the normal AP sometimes , good coverage

As for the Speed paints there are plenty of video reviews you can view

My wargaming mates swear by them, if you want a rapid highlight/shadow system they do pretty good job. The problem is that they work like a wash so you don't really get highlights and shadows so much as dark recesses.

Yes, I've seen several videos about them, but only about Warhammer and Fantastic theme figures, not for historical figures.
