hello
i had this verlinden chap left over and while i did the orginal i searched the bits and spare boxes.i came up with this
the stg44 is an uwe grotjahn item
the helmet an spare warriors-lucky me one time had in an box two-hehehe
the head is an item i did get from an nice chap sclupting himself
so it came all together with lots of cursing and fideling.because the stg in metal is quite heavy and did come free several times untill glue had cured
i like them this size they are impressive
cheers

Really like how the new head and helmet give different aspect to this figure, he looks like he has just fought for his life. Great looking figure with your conversions Markus.

hello
thanks yes i like them big.so i came to an idea.i will chop an dragon 1:6 figure at the level of hips.because so i have already an fine head good hands and raw body.then i will sculpt my clothing on it.this is should be able to do. i can not do hands faces weapons ect so i have already lot of parts to choose from.
i will use milliput for the raw stuff and magic sculpt for the fine detail.i hope i will come out at end with something acceptable.so i think i can do something different and avoiding the hard things.
of course i will do it only for me and not make castings-well should i end withsomtehing at all i hasten to add-so i think this way is acceptable.
as soon my milliput i ran short an reordered again does arrive, i start with it.
it will be an german wehrmacht soldier with an k98 rifle and steelhelmet
i plan to try to do it similary to the excellent Young bust of the mg gunner
i hope it will end not in disaster:mad::(
i know you sculpting cracks might snear but maybe this idea will be an base to make something interesting without having to be an artist.
i will give my best:;)
regards

Markus this sort of work you propose to do is a great way to introduce yourself into sculpting, i started with minor conversion on figures and worked up from there over the years so no `Snear` from me mate :) you are doing the right thing.
