The second release of Young Miniatures in march 2009 is a beautifully sculpted bust by the talented hands of Laurent Borget. Cast in 6 resin parts the kit comes in Young's traditional black sturdy cardboard box with the clear sleeve arounf the box to ensure it stays closed. All parts are sandwiched between layers of foam and small parts sealed in a plastic baggie.
Above are the six yellow resin parts out of the box and ready for inspection.
Above are the four views of the highly detailed head with the helmet cast separately. A casting block needs to be removed for fitment of the helmet to the top of the head.
Above are three views of the helmet with a casting block to be removed from the inside before fitment to the top of the head.
Above are the four views of the chest showing two small casting blocks to be removed from the underside of the bust. As you can see the attention to detail plus the drapery and folds are extremely well done by Laurent.
