Hi Folks
Some more update.
The jacket is near to finish.Have to smooth some outlining and some touches here and there.
The dagger,swastika and leather straps ares not finished yet.
Then,I'll go to the pants and boots.
Laurent.The white is Stone grey+offwhite,highlights adding more offwhite.Shadows were painted adding english uniform+black+dark blue.Depending the ammount of blue you put,you get cooler or warmer shadows.Playing with that gives a nice effect on whites.In the picture I can't see the warmer tones though

Interestingly, I would have thought an SS-Sturmbannfuhrer might have been wearing more metalwork on his chest than just the SA-Sportabzeichen - maybe he had a desk job :lol:

Hi Folks.
More work done.The black trousers have to be finished.I'm checking the contrast.Black is a hard colour to paint.If you put too much contrast it may turn into grey.
Ross.The figure is very nice sculpted and the best thing,only the dagger to glue.. :lol:

Totally excellent. I agree with Ross and Jason, the floor looks fine - it sort of sets the piece off nicely. My own take would be to run the checkerboard at an angle to the square of the base, but either way it looks great.

Just shows how good a 12 euro figure can be made to turn out with skill and patience.
