The SS Panzer kit described in the following review is in my opinion Young's best work to date. The figure comprising 13 parts in resin and the turret comprising 76 resin parts. All snuggly packed in Young's standard sturdy black box. The kit comes with a comprehensive step-by-step color guide to the construction of the Turret.

Each segment of the kit is individually bagged and the kit also comes with an etched brass / black name plate.

Above you will see the figure parts on the left and the Turret parts in their individual baggies on the right.

The Figure

Above is the lower leg section of the torso showing the front and back view.

Above are 3 views of the head. The hat is cast separtely and dry-fitting shows a good fit to the head.

Above is the upper chest portion of the torso.

Above we see the front and back of the arms.

The seperate cast shoes dry-fit into the bottom of each leg perfectly.

Above are front and back views of the rifle and the ammo clip that fastens to the rifle.

Above is the holster which fits to the hip.

Conclusion:
An excellent kit of the Panzer Officer and Turret. A complex project I am sure we will see on display in many different versions at the future shows. Highly recommended!

WOWOWOW!!!!

I wonder if the figure will ever come available separately? The full production is spectacular, but I would be interested in painting the figure a couple of times.

I understand there have been some queries raised about the italian camo on the pants. Can anyone suggest other patterns that could be applied to this figure? thanks.
