Face was painting using a cold mixing of Azur + Purpleheart Red + Beige Red, all this was mixing with Skin tone base from Jo Sonya for lights, for extreme lights adding some Basic Skintone.

For Shadows adding some Plum Pink (Jo Sonya) to the base mixing, then some Burnt Umber and after that some Raw Umber

The color tones using French Blue + Plum Pink (Jo Sonya) also some Violet Red and Burnt Cadmio Red

The result should be a pastel grey cold skin with some violets and pinky tones to capture the cold atmosphere over the skin

The hat was painting with a mixing of German Field Grey + German Grey + a bit of Yellow Olive, using Sunny Skin Tone for lights and Black For Shadows. Adding some Voilets, Purple and Violet red for color tone and given some more life and environment to the garment.

The Fur has a mix of several browns like German Camo Black Brown, Chocolate Brown, Orange Brown, etc. Also some Violets tones and some lighter hair with Sunny Skin Tone, Basic Skin Tone, English Uniform and Golden Brown

A good tip is to paint first with a darker base and then adding more lighter brown tones and then some details

The machine gunner was painting using first a black primer, for the metal parts a mix of Chocolate Brown + Glossy Black, to give it the metal look is very easy just using some graphite with a brush and also with the graphite tip, be sure to use an 8B or 6B pencil graphite, I use this one http://img0104.popscreencdn.com/159210689_faber-castell-0-9-mm-graphite-leads-in-container-mint.jpg

For the wooden parts I used different color tones, like dark brown, red brown, orange brown, also some black, dark blue, and dark green, the technique is very random, no base color here just doing strokes of dark and light colors, but the tendencies is the red brown tone, for wood I always use the woodgrain from Vallejo, is transparent color and very vivid.

Hola Ernest!

Saw it today in Facebook and like him very much, did not know you are the painter until now.
3D sculpted, any diference between hand work? What is your thoughts?

Pedro.

Hola Pedro
Is my firs digital 3D Sculpt paint, I guess for the painter is the same than any traditional sculpt, the difference should be for the sculptor, cause is more easy to sculpt in digital then traditional, but you will need all the knowledge of any sculptor to do this, the computer is only a new tool.
Same is for me when I do a digital Illustration, is way more easy then a traditional illustration but you will need all the knowledge if you want to do a good job

As already said above, your work on the PSSH stock are amazing!.. Quite inconsiderate of you, bearing in mind that many of us are still trying to achieve a reasonable wood grain effect..:ROFLMAO:. Also love how did you worked contrasts on the peaked cap!
Felicidades artista!!
