Hi!

I would like to show you one of my work. It's the grenadier from Wiking Division somewhere in Soviet Union. The figure is from S&T Productions, the base is scratchbuilt. Everything was painted with oils, enamels and acrylics.
Any comments are welcome.

Thanks for looking

Lukas

Lukas,
very nicely done. The figure is well rendered, the scene is quite nicely done. I particularly like the touch of the exposed brick in the sides of the walls and the delicate wire exposed running up the wall.

I might add one thought though, although it is very nicely done, I think the building section, particularly the height of it is maybe a bit overwhelming for your figure. I think a bit less of the building would allow you to focus on the figure just a bit more. (Look at the third picture down and see how nicely the figure is framed by just the door and a bit of wall above. I think that is a perfect ballance.) I certainly don't want to take away from how well this piece is put together though. Very well done!

Welcome to the Planet BTW!!! Lets see more of this nice work!

The light switch and its cable are a real nice touch.

By the way, seeing your work, it comes to my mind the feb. edition of the printed catalogue of Tuttostoria I received some day ago. There is a bimonthly magazine, "Volontari", focused on Waffen SS troops (64 pages each issue, full illustrated with b&w pics, 6 euros each issue), which I think could be of some interest for people doing such kind of figures (the ref. code for the magazine is 077RG026).
The magazine summary content, printed on the catalogue, is in italian, but I think it could be easily understood.
