Fris let me state I am by no means a good painter at least in my eyes but i have had some luck I think with white. Here is a link to a site that I did an article on painting white uniforms. Perhaps it might help. Regards Brock

Steve, I don't know if this will help you cause this was done in enamels. I started with a light gray and gradually worked my way up to a straight white highlight. I then blended with clean mineral spirits. HTH.
