Now I'm a big fan of Scale75's steampunk figures, having bought them all, but I have to admit that this one leaves me cold.

For me, for it to be steampunk there has to be some link to the Victorian era in respect of dress, and goggles coupled with mechanical augmentations and strange and wonderful inventions based around the use of airships, steam and clockwork.

Instead what I see here is a modern biker/glamour girl with an iron cross around her neck standing in front of a souped up motorcycle.

I will need to wait to see the final version of the figure before committing to spend 105 Euros. Sorry.

It is more dieselpunk I agree.

This is better than I expected. I don't like the mechanical limbs of steampunk girls, so this one is perfect for me, more of a pinup. I wish they would give you the option to buy just the girl without the cycle.

Cheers,

Well, Steampunk is not to be confused with Victorian SciFi, which is something different. Though it is sometimes hard to tell apart...

Quite curious for the final miniature.

Regards,
Max

the only steampunk stuff is the gasoline pump

Spot on:D -gasoline pump in a steam based concept:ROFLMAO:
Actually, come think of it, its steam wars - they can cram anything they like into this, including a man in a sauna...and a fruit bat (hint!)

I think Max may be on to something with Victorian Sifi ( one could question Victorian vs amount of flesh on display:eek: ) but steam punk it aint.

...All you 'Steampunk' Buffs should have a look at the movie 'Sucker Punch'.... Might give you some ideas for this excellent range of figures!

Just had a look at the trailer for Sucker Punch on IMDB. Looks so good I ordered the movie.

More "Back Street Heroes" than Steam-punk!!

Hmm, there is already a good comic book about that :D don't give them ideas
