Hello all!
I'd like to show you my new miniature "Steppenwolf orc" in 28 mm scale.

Regards, Filin.

He looks like an Orc with an attitude problem. Excellent sculpting. I really like this little guy.

Thank you very for your reply, I'm very pleased that you liked my miniatures.

Looks nicely sculpted but those photos are really dark, difficult to see the details.

I took the liberty of lightening one, shows off the nice textures better:

Excellent sculpture

and in such a small scale.

To make it easier to photograph, perhaps try a lighter background.

Cameras have a hard time with a contrast between light and dark; a black cat on a white sheet comes out as a blob with eyes and a tail.

If you check the reviews section with Guys entries, he often uses a lighter background for unpainted 'grey' figures.

The camera will capture more of your work, and lets us see and admire more of the details you put into your 28mm figure.

cheers

Latley I have been taking pictures with a white background but I guess that the colour of my current model isn't on the darkside anymore :O

Also though, thanks for that tip aswell Janus.

Just checked Guys reviews

..and for painted figures, it seems he uses a matte black background.

For a figure "in the raw" he seems to use a mid gray or light blue background. Must get some cardboard in a similar tone.

cheers
