I am presently painting Michael Robert's 120 mm Revolutionary War figure, the one in the hunting shirt. This is the first figure I've painted in quite a while, so I'm out of practice. I'm painting in oils and so far so good. My problem is dealing with the mouth. I think the upper lip area is a little too long on the figure, so it looks a wrong some how. Are there any painting tricks to overcome this? A nice mustache would fix it, but that's out of the question. Thanks.
