Thank you very much for your compliment, gordy! To tell the truth, I've been watching his face everyday for 3 weeks so I'm getting bored with this project, though. :)

Thank you, thank you thank you very much, Steve, Marc, Carl!

Without your advices I couldn't finish this and brought it into this result. Adding purple and tone down things were really helpful advices. If it were not for these advices I would have him "cheerful young stormtrooper" which is not very interesting looking. Thank you again.

Thank you very much for your kind compliments, Steve!
"Young but gaunt look" are conflicting feel so that was the hardest part.

It's perfect in everything, Kaz.(y)
I have not judged the person brought along by such short time.
You several years later are fearful for me.
I feel a complex, Kaz.
I think indeed facial painting is a professional work.
Anyway I congratulate completion.
I also expect a work next to you very much.;)

Thank you very much Mitsutaka, I'm glad I got such a nice comment from you.

No I don't think "short time", I regret it took too long time to back to this hobby. While I was away I keep modelling and painting in my imagination. Still there's a big gap between reality and my imagination, so I always frustrated, punching my head. :)

You are an excellent painter you don't need to feel a complex. I'm far from a pro, I still don't find the secret why people's work are so impressible. I always searching for that secret.
I'm not modest about my work, I really think so from the bottom of my heart.

I've been away from the planet for almost a week so I missed your final struggle with this bust, but I can only say the result is very very nice indeed.
Nice that you attempted a different approach than the (also excellent) box art and what you intended is clear to me: a fresh, but scared rookie headed for the trenches.
Congratulations on the result Kaz.

Cheers,
Adrian

Yes, that's right, "Fresh but scared rookie headed for the trench", that's the ardest part and that's what I really want viewers to recognize. I'm really happy you get what I intended!

thanks for sharing :)
Thank you very much for your comment, Mark!
