Hi guys,

Here's some pics of my latest, a 54mm piece from Andrea. There's a humanity to this sculpt that I really admire. It's not the ideal, romanticized vision of a soldier often conveyed in figures. This guy just looks, to me anyway, like a very young man, thin, maybe even a little frail, tired, haunted, etc., etc. I bought the trench section groundwork, which is absolutely fantastic, a while back and I don't quite remember the brand. I think it was Tommy's War, or possibly Model Cellar. The barbed wire is Hudson and Allen. All painted with acrylics. Thanks for looking!

Great to see you posting and a really nice piece as well , I agree ref the look of tge Guy ...works well , nice simple but well presented trench

Like the uniform colour

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our May's FOTM comp and also vote in Aprils classes as well

....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 which will be running till 31/12/21 with voting till 31/01/22

Always good to see the artwork

You have captured the mood of the piece as well as once again painted up a great figure. Your colors and technique match the nature of this forlorn yet resolute figure very nicely.

Best,
Kevin

Superb work, all round. I like this figure, too. You've made a good job of him. To be honest it's passed me by, but now I've seen your version, I fancy it. The best compliment I can pay.
