Cheers Guy, this figure has been sat on the not finished shelf for the last 4 years. Gave it to moz to put the detail on and finish it. Glad I did.

Stuart

PS Sangeon Lee's painting of the figure is awesome, I have it and everybody bound for Euro will be able to see it.

Great figure, Stuart, and your second British figure from Inkerman. I hope that this will be a trend!
There are a lot of nice details here, including the fact that that he's not wearing a greatcoat like the Grenadier officer. Some idiot thought that it would give the men of the 68th easier access to their ammo, but it was so wet that they had to use their bayonets anyway!:D
Can you identify the bugle for us? The M1855 (obviously) didn't come out until the next year and I have no idea what this one is. Thanks!

many thanks to you all for your support and appreciation of this figure.

It means a lot to me to see how much they are liked.

Tommi, I'll try and get it in the post today, but work might get in the way.

Phillip, not sure about the bugle, maurice made this bit. I do have another crimean fiure in 75mm , but its for later.

Again, many thanks

Stuart

Thanks guys for your comments they are greatly appreciated.

Johan I checked and the osprey book from which this was taken shows a ball tuft lower third red upper white.

I also checked in my crimean bible on crimean uniforms and it says a green ball tuft.

Both are written by michael barthorp so I honestly couldnt tell you either way

Stuart
