Stu, brilliant release might even tempt me back to painting full figures.

I wondered how long it would be before a KGL Lt Bn Officer would appear in your current seeries bearing in mind the ones you had in the old MiliMen King's Shilling range. I still have the bust of a KGL Officer you did all those years ago.

Now that is a striking figure. Beautifully done by Maurice followed by an excellent paint job by Mark. I just may have to re-think and go back to painting Napoleonic era figures.

many thanks for great comments.

Managed to transfer these off my phone just. Here are two photos of the master and the more observant will notice a companion figure that could be used together.

Very natural and evocative....I particularly like the way he is holding his sword.....just a bit different. Could also be painted as 95th or Hanoverian light at Waterloo with minor adjustments. Even better with the companion there.

Another wonderful figure Stu, the KGL was always one of your favourites if I remember correctly. Lovely peice of work and a very good painting indeed.
Nice one and its starting to get near Euro as well.

Lovely looking figure Stu and with Mozs sculpting and marks painting makes for a wonderful combination.

Cheers

It seems since I am so far away, that I perceive that I'm always on the
outside looking in. I read all the posts and went to the web site listed
on the first page of these forum posts.

But I seemed to miss any place where it said what scale this Corry
piece is????

I have some of his wonderful figures, and they are 120mm. Is that what this
figure is?

What is it I do not understand? I would think mentioned the scale for
ignorant old men such as myself would be important???? I would think that
would give the viewer, especially those of us who are not in the UK or the
EU and do not know, some solid informations so they could better
understand what they are looking at.

Am I wrong here? Am I over reacting? If so, I sincerely apologize. But I will
say that several of my Heartland friends ask the same question about
figures posted on PF.

Respectfully submitted,

Rick Brownlee

Hi Rick,

Sorry it is of course a 120mm from Maurice, the clue was in the figures code 120/18.

120 representing the figures size.

Sorry

Stuart

Like the officer very much! The figure would indeed make a nice grouping with the companion figure. When will the companion figure be available?

Thanks, Terry Martin-Atlanta Miniature Figure Society
