Hello Stu,
A stunning figure.
Missed out on the first run of this figure, however just ordered it this am. Looking fwd to getting the figure. Will need to be patient though. I altered my purchase running order but will try to keep to my painting plans and not change that around as well. Rushing a figure is never a good idea anyway.
Too many good kits out there.

Just waiting for these two:

Both of these look cracking projects but the group of three revolutionary war figures is a must for me. Super concept and execution. Can’t wait.

Neal.

Please stop posting pictures of the three revolutionary figures in 75mm. It should not be allowed. I do not need another addition to the grey army. But the precious is calling........

Seriously, what a superb vignette.

A big congratulations to Stuart at Stormtroopers-Troop 54. As can be seen above I ordered the 2nd hussar figure am Tues. 12. June. The kit arrived around noon yesterday, Tues. 13. June. Probably the shortest time lapse between order being placed and goods delivered I've had in the miniatures figure world.

Looks an excellent kit in the "flesh". My "research", on standards lost at Austerlitz indicated that the colours shown in the artwork would fit for the Russian regiment Azov. Despech Issue #1: The Trophies of Austerlitz (napoleon-series.org)

The 2nd Hussars, who obviously were very active at Austerlitz, also got a colour of the Narva regiment that day, so an alternative is available.

As indicated earlier in this thread, now having to be patient re making up the kit and painting it up.

Thanks again Stuart.

Many thanks to Lightbob for the very useful link on Russian standards. I was scratching my noggin over that one. I got as far as saying, "I think it's Russian"...

I'll second the motion for great delivery. I've ordered from Stuart quite a few times and the package always arrives promptly.

And to finish the Troop 54 Love Fest can I mention the quality of the casting? It's impeccable; there's hardly any clean up required, the parts fit beautifully and (my fave!) you never get a bendy sword or musket. Always dead straight.

Bendy bits are my pet gripe with resin figures. I hate having to dangle bits of spastic plastic in hot water... Ugh!

Many thanks everybody for your support and comments which is much appreciated

Stuart
