Hello fellow Planeteers,

I would like to show you my latest 54mm figurine from Kings Rd Miniatures. I call it "Strictly Charleston". Strictly speaking it should be Clara Bow but I painted her differently to represent any girl having a good time in 1920's America.

She is painted in acrylics throughout which is a break for me as I am usually a confirmed Oily.

Please let me know what you think.

Regards, John.

Hi John ,

What a great figure , so full of movement , love the facial expression and the title ...and whats this ACRYLICS ...GOOD MAN (y).

Nice fleshwork and the dress has movement with a great shimmer effect ...nice and simple basework which compliments the figure .

Cool! After seeing Cab awhile back, I was really hoping you would do this one too. Looks awesome. Nice work. (y)

Thanks again guys. Tom, I know what you mean. That song was going through my head all the time I painted her.

By all means, Jeff. It would be an honour. And my I say what a lovely casting this figure was. It was a real pleasure to paint and that is all down to the sculpter. (y)
