Evening all.

There was a large one down at the submarine school and a stone carved one outside too, hope they make it up north when it closes.

Hello Taff,
Have not seen you on here for a while, hope you are well mate! I have always like the idea of more British Senior Service figures, there is a lot of scope with our Naval history and here are two of my favourites for sculpting ideas.
Boy Jack Cornwell as a bust and the Seafaring Men as full figures.
cheers
Richie

Aye nice to be back lads, took a long fishing trip. Love your two ideas Richie, especially young Cornwell because that was the class I was put in when I joined up.

I can't even use green stuff so sculpting is a huge no for me. It was more in the hope of a sculpter seeing it and being inspired by it.

Hi Taff,

Good to have you back

Good idea about Cornwall ........but I reckon the RMLI Bugler from CGS has great potential for a conversion as well into this very brave young man ???

Maybe someone will take the challenge up ?

Nap

Cheers Nap and I take your point on the bugler however there is something about the face I'm not keen on. Also I'd just like to see one made because I'm sure I'm not the only who stand here and say I have no conversion skill at all.

Jonesy.

I wouldn't really agree, I manage to convert really good kits, into complete wrecks , quite easily. LOL.

It's just a matter of trying...i remember my first conversions...complete disaster.

But it gets better with time and i have no doubt you will dk great Taff.
