Completed Swedish infantry 1706. original 54 mm.

Hello and happy holidays.
finished this piece a couple of weeks ago. It's an original sculpt with a hornet head,for details please see previous thread.

It depicts a Swedish musketeer from the västerbottens regiment at the battle of Fraustadt, He wears the somewhat earlier type of Karolean uniform. As always, painted with Vallejo's acrylics.

Accurate painting. White color on the cap and cuffs looks too chtsym.

I'm sorry, the camera seems to distort the colors a little. I didn't get the white balance quite right. But there's a point in what you say, the white's might be to clean and I could stain them more.

Krister, I too wish there were more karolean figures available. I'm afraid I neither have the equipment nor the skills to cast it myself, I do some castings of equipment and such but not a whole figure. There is howrever a couple on the market.
