Hi Gents and Lady,

Included I send a picture of the driver of the Swimmwagencrew by Jaguar. Hes' painted entirely in acrylics. It's for a Dutch client, so I won't be placing him in his vehicule myself. The codriver needs to be ready by this weekend, I'll place pictures of him when finished.

As always I would love to hear what you think of him and what I need to do to improve the next one.

Many thanks in advance,

Gino

What flesh tone mix did you use for this figure

Hi Anders,

Here are the colours I use to paint pale skintones: Light Flesh (Vallejo 928) + Burnt Cadmium Red (VA814) + Old Rose (VA944)
Highlight: Base + Beige (VA917) + more Light Flesh + Titanium White (Polucolour). Final highlights are with pure TitaniumWhite.
Shadow: Base + more Burnt Cadmium Red + Royal Purple (VA810) + Dark Prussian Blue (VA899) + Lamp Black (Polycolour)
5 'o clock shadow: very light washes of Dark Prussian blue, Payenes Grey (PC) and Lamp Black.

wow, i really like the flesh tones, particularly the pinkish around the eyes!

Hi Gordy,

This is achieved by painting a very thin layer of the following colours after the skincolour was finished : Scarlet (VA817) (This was also painted on the hollow of the cheecks, tip of the nose, lower parts of the ears) and Royal Purple.

I hope this helps at least a little. If anyone has more questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Greetz,

Gino
