Hello Guys...

It's quite few I don't post nothing on Planet..I'm sorry about that ...
And here we go with a new thread.., My latest work .. !!

It's a Swiss medium/heavy pikeman, 1500/1525. It's a mercenary from all the troops that fought in Italy in the begging of the 16 cent. This Period it's called Italian Wars.
I will work on some subjects from this period, and this is the first one.
Hope You will like it ..

Figure is complete at 90% . I have to work on some small details like the gauntlet, Feathers . etc .. The pike it's quite tall ( two an half of the figure lenght ) so there is no way to include it all in the pics..

Figure is made of : Brass and resin for the armature. Magic Sculpt for the mannequin and URO ( Green ) polymer clay for the figure modelling.
The head is a commecial copy. Scale 54 mm

Salut !

Hello Paulo. I got a big documentation on this period. All concerning the wars from 1500 to 1540. Most of all the battles war fought in Italy. and one ( Garigliano 1503 ) 60 km from my place..
If you need any help let me know .. i could send you something ..

Ciao !

Great idea Nello, I will take you up on that. It is a very nice piece and I look forward to seeing it completed. I would love to see more Italian medieval and renaissance subjects made available as kits. Their are so many interesting and colorful subjects available.
