It really is very informative, it makes you realise just how many figures may have very inappropriate poses for authentic combat.
Great information on the use of shields in battle and how the range of sizes of shields determines the style of attack, and why the round Viking shield would not work if it had arm straps.
Should be of great interest to scluptors of figures in battle poses.

Really interesting, and pretty obvious when demonstrated, as Mark says should be of interest to sculptors........mind you no wonder there's no children playing in the park.

Very informative. Sword fighting in movies is often very exiting to watch but I almost find it more interesting to see how it really was done.
