I always feel that to do justice to these pieces you need to be beyond figure modeller/figure painter, you need to be a true artist. All three of these pieces are a tribute to your natural artistic talent. It is why all of the Samurai in my cabinets are painted by commission as I couldn't hope to do justice to the Genre myself.

These are all stunning and on a par with the work of Olga Zernina who is another brilliant artist gracing this hobby who also contributes to PF.

+1 to what Keith says above ^^

I've always been of the belief that the top guys (and girls) in the hobby have a natural artistic talent that can neither be taught nor learned, and which sets them apart from the rest of us.

I keep on coming back to these as they are so good, and a joy to behold!
