This deceased Taliban is a quick work for my own diorama, and i will make another two in the pick-up.

Currently, I am working on a US Army soldier also for this diorama but have been postponed for a while..no motivation now la...>o<

Comment is always welcomed!

A minor point is the figure should be a lot more floppy if he is dead, this guy while an excellent sculpt looks more like he's relaxing against the tail board than dead. As for the subject matter that a matter for yourself although it might be a bit fraught if you intend to show it in public.

I would suggest to make it more dramatic and tilt head right back and expose throat/ "beard pointing at the sky" way aslo R arm - needs to be vertical - held only by own weight.

HE's maybe got rigor or only hof deed!!!
Nice sculpt (y)

Great figure, but I agree, his head should be pitched back further. As he currently is posed, he looks like he's alive and looking at something in the sky at about 50 degrees up from the horizon. No matter what, I'd love to see this when it's finished.

Prost!

Not sure if the M 16 is there for just for this dry fit, he should have an AK. The Talibs dont use M16's (resup issue and they actually don't like them). Some sort of battle bra would be a nice touch as well.

Hi guys,

Thanks very much for your comment.

Indeed, I agree this figure is not floppy enough to show the death pose, I may make the head more right back and make the mouth open ( it may make this death figure more natural i believe..).

Also, it is the dry fit to put a M16 on the body, in the final work, it should be with an AK.

Anyway, thank you guys for the comment!

Looking good. Hey, what happened to that Aussie figure you made some time ago... it seemed that one could be a commercial piece.

Hi Mario,

Sorry for late reply and also thanks for your concern about my Aussie figure. Unfortunately, it is still in my stock... Sculpting is one of my hobby, and I'd love to create some my own works, they bring me a lot of joy; however, to release them into public, I may need to work with some brand, and it is also the way I am trying to..

I have introduced my works to some brand, and hope we could see these work released soon.

Thanks again!

Just sitting back in the armchair with a large glass of claret and some nibbles nicely arranged on a tray whilst waiting for the first PF member to be "offended" by this subject and then launch into a homily about the figure being in ' bad taste' or even "racist" !
