Afternoon all
I though it was time to get back to my favourite 54mm scale and no better way to start than with one of Stormtroopers "Troop 54" range. I wanted to do a Napoleonic subject and this chap took my eye. It is nicely sculpted and a "true" 54mm. Detail is crisp and there are few issues in cleaning it up. I did get a bit over-enthusiastic with the razor saw when removing the mould plug from the left elbow. A blob of filler remedied that. I pinned the arms and they may also need a very slight wipe of filler to tidy them, but no issues there. Here's the kit so far:
As you can see, a nicely sculpted face which will be the first job when I'm back at the bench. This will be an all-acrylic project (Vallejo and Scalecolour). Thanks for looking in
