Hello, I wanted to show you my latest work, based on a 54mm piece in the beautiful catalog of Crecy.
It is a standard bearer Templar 1250, beautifully carved by the skilled hands of Marco Pezzotti.
It 'was very pleasant and quick to realize this piece, so I highly recommend it to all lovers of the period.
For the setting I imagined on a rocky hill intent to scan the horizon looking for any enemies or controlling the caravans of pilgrims.

Please, please, please don't mix the clothing of a sergeant and knight on the same figure. Knights were required to wear white surcoats and cloaks, Sergeants black or dark brown. To mix them would have been a breach of the regulations of the order.

Fantastic painting Enrico, I especially love the battered shield. Thanks for sharing (y)
