Very well done as usual Guy, love the colours and the treatment of the shield. Nice base as well - really sets off this (by now) classic figure. Keep 'em coming mate
Thanks for the kind words guys, I appreciate them. Every once in awhile a figure comes along that really stands out when you first see it released......this was one of them that almost painted itself.
Fantastic! I really like the touch of the lighter beard on this guy, it adds a much needed bit of contrast to let his face stand out up in there under the cloak. Pics don't do him justice Guy,
Thanks Jay & Engin for the kind words. I sent pics to the collector last night and he was happy as well. Its a shame that most photos of figures leave alot out and they never seem to show what they really look like.
Can someone explain to me please if they find it more difficult to assemble and paint... or do most people complete assembly and then paint. I would think that if you do assemble and paint as you go along.. you would have to do some filling and sanding and then priming. I find Guy's way interesting. I see why.. like he says.. that way he can get all details painted and covered. I could see obvious parts that you may want to put on later and even painted while off the figure.
